Bob Vokey joined Titleist in 1996. After 8 months, he brought his first prototype wedges to the PGA Tour. In the summer of 1997, the first Vokey Design wedge went into play at St. Jude Classic in Memphis, Tennessee. To commemorate that special week, Bob has crafted a replica of the 456.14 as a limited edition release.
"I had two in my bag, and let Andy try it. He canned the first one and lipped out the second one, and he says to me, 'Voke, I've got to put this in play!'"
The 456.14 features a classic design with increased offset and a rounded profile. The 14° bounce makes it a great option in soft conditions, bunkers and steep angles of attack while providing great versatility around the greens. The 456.14 achieves maximum spin through TX4 groove technology and is available in a unique Polished Chrome Finish.
