Vokey Innovations

Each Vokey groove is designed to maximize edge radius, volume, and spacing and machined to the tightest tolerances.

SM10 features a deeper shape on the 46°- 54° and a wider shape on the 56°- 62°.

Each SM10 wedge also features:
- Parallel Micro texture increases face texture and helps to protect the shape and integrity of the groove.
- Heat Treated Face to maximize the lifespan of the precision milled grooves.
- 100% Inspection to ensure the finest quality and consistency.

Sharpen Your Short Game

When the grooves on your wedges wear down, you lose control over your short game. The reduced spin makes it harder to stop chips, pitches, and bunker shots quickly, leading to more roll and less accuracy.

Worn grooves also affect consistency, especially in wet conditions, where debris can get in the way of clean contact. Without effective grooves, the clubface may slip off the ball, making it tough to hit the right shot and taking away some control over your short game.

Groove Wear: Main Causes

- Frequent Play: Regular play creates normal wear and tear and results in a gradual wearing down of the grooves.

- Bunker Shots: Bunker shots expose the face to millions of small pebbles and rocks.

- Abnormal Conditions: Sandy lies, debris on the golf ball, rocks, and bag chatter can all lead to gradual groove wear.

- Range golf balls: Range balls and other hard covered balls will, over time, wear down the edge of the groove.

“Fresh grooves, we have to have them. Our tour pins are tucked in tight spots, so you have to be able to hit it low and hit it high with the right amount of spin. If the grooves are not fresh, you’re going to get inconsistency.”
